Services · Operations support for founder-led businesses

Three ways in.

You don't need a big plan, you need someone to look at what's going on behind the scenes from a bird's eye view, tell you straight what they've found and help you sort it, and that is completely my bag.

Where most people start

The Sit-Down

A deep dive behind the scenes.

£400One-off

For you if you know something's up but you're not sure what.

  • 90 minutes with me on a video call
  • We work through how work, customers and money move through your business
  • A written summary within 48 hours, with your top three fixes
  • A follow-up call a week later to talk it through

Where it gets built

The Fix

So the business doesn't need you 24/7.

From £4,200One-off · usually a six-week project

For you if you've grown fast but the back end hasn't kept up. It might be a project, something built from scratch, or whatever will make the biggest difference right now.

  • We work on the things that will make the biggest difference to your business, built around your goals
  • Not another list for you to get through at 11pm, real foundations so the business stops relying on you
  • Your team brought along, so it sticks
  • Check-ins while it beds in, and a short written update every week

Where it keeps working

The Partnership

I lead the back end while you run the front.

From £3,500A month · four-month minimum

For you if you want to stay front and centre, growing the business, and don't have time to oversee the back end too.

  • I lead the projects and the day to day behind the scenes, and your team through them
  • I take the decisions that would otherwise land on you
  • I check what's working and keep improving your processes as the business grows
  • I keep the team accountable and the numbers in front of you
  • I help you work out your next hire

Who it's for

Brilliant at what you do. Stuck under a ceiling you built.

You started a business to do the work you're brilliant at, and now you're also the one quoting, chasing, hiring, fixing and remembering, so you've built yourself a ceiling because you're still doing it all.

This is for you if the business has grown and you're still in every part of it, you've got a team or you're about to, and you've hit the point where you can't hold it all together in your head any more. You don't need someone to take a few tasks off you, you need someone to work out what's actually happening in your business, build it properly and then stick around long enough to make sure it holds.

It probably isn't for you if you're still finding your first customers, or you want somebody to hand you a task list and disappear. And whichever way you start, the expensive option is being in the same place three months from now.

Not sure where you fit?

You don't have to have it all worked out first.

  • ✦

If you know something's not right but can't say what, start with the Sit-Down. We get underneath it and you leave knowing exactly what to fix first.

  • ✦

If you know what's costing you and it keeps sitting on your list, that's the Fix. We stop talking about it and get it built.

  • ✦

If you're done being the person everything comes back to, that's the Partnership. I stay in it with you, so it doesn't drift back.

And if you're sat there thinking you're somewhere between two of those, that's completely normal. Tell me what's going on and we'll work out where to start together.

How it usually goes

One step at a time, in the right order.

  1. We talk

You tell me what's going on through the form, and I come back to you myself.

  2. The sit-down

Ninety minutes, then your top three fixes in writing within 48 hours.

  3. The Fix

If you want me to, I build what will make the biggest difference, with you and your team.

  4. The Partnership

If you'd like me to stay close, I keep it all running as you grow.

Questions

Things people ask me.

Do I need to know what's wrong?

No. That's what the sit-down is for. I ask the questions and you answer them.

Will this work for my kind of business?

If it's grown around you and it's started to break behind the scenes, yes. The details are different in a van, a clinic, a studio and a shop, but the problem underneath is the same.

What if my team's small?

Two people is enough. It's far easier to build it now than to untangle it later.

Will my team be on board?

That's part of the job. I bring them in early and explain it plainly, so it feels like help and not something being done to them. They'll also take ownership of some of the work, so it doesn't all land on you.

What if I don't need you after the sit-down?

Then you've got your top three fixes and you can get on with them.

How do we work together?

Video calls, with WhatsApp messages or voice notes in between. It works the same wherever you are.

Ready when you are

Does it make sense to get that first session in the diary?
